HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM A RENEWING MEMBER?

Any 2013 member that purchases a membership for the 2014 season is considered to be a renewing member. All other 2014 members are defined as new members or lapsed members.

WILL I BE ABLE TO KEEP MY EXISTING MEMBERSHIP NUMBER IN 2014?

Yes, all 2014 renewing members will retain their existing member number.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MEMBERSHIP PACK?

Fulfilment of 2014 membership packs will commence from Early-February.

HOW WILL MEMBER SEATS BE ALLOCATED IN 2014?

The Club has consolidated some seating to create a members area in the Ed Rix Stand.

2014 members will have the first opportunity to retain seating they held for the 2013 season or nearby. To keep a reserved seat , your membership renewal must be received by the club no later than 31st of December clearly nominating to retain the same seat.

Every effort has been made to retain seating groups and should cause little disruption to your seating.

HOW CAN I MAKE SURE I AM ALLOCATED SEATS WITH MY FRIENDS?

When submitting your membership by mail, fax, in person, online or paying over the phone:

If you wish to sit with specific members or if you are introducing new members you would like to sit with, all forms must be received together for processing purposes. Please be sure to include any seating preference you may have with your application.

Please be sure to note any seating preferences when completing your membership application. Although every effort will be made to fulfil your request, new seat requests are processed in order of submission date. If your preference is unavailable, you will be seated in the best available seat at time of processing.

IF I AM ALLOCATED A SEAT THAT IS UNDERCOVER WILL I REMAIN COMPLETELY DRY IN WET WEATHER?

Seating defined as “undercover “is determined by the roofline, therefore there is no guarantee that these seats will remain dry in wet weather conditions. When it does rain there are no particular areas that are wetter than any others.

WILL I BE ABLE TO CHANGE MY SEATING ALLOCATION IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY SEAT?

WHAT IS A VALID CONCESSION?

Holders of a current Pension Card (aged, single parent or disability) or Veteran Affairs Card are eligible, as well as students who hold a full time Student Card for 2013-14. Please notify the club of your concession type and relevant card number on application to avoid any delays in receiving your 2014 membership.

All concession members must have identification available for presentation upon entry on match day and when requested whilst at the ground.

The following list a breakdown of what is considered a concession for membership pricing.

  • Current Pension Card (aged, single parent or disability)
  • Veteran Affairs Card
  • Students who hold a valid full time Student Card for 2014
  • Health Care Card
  • War Veterans / Widows

DOES MY MEMBERSHIP GRANT ME ENTRY TO AWAY GAMES?

If you have purchased a season Membership you will be able to attend both home games at Gliderol Stadium and all Away Matches.

DOES GLENELG FC OFFER AN INTERSTATE MEMBERSHIP?

Supporter Membership keeps you in touch with the bays and includes membership plus Double pass to 1 Home Match.

IS POSTAGE INCLUDED IN MY MEMBERSHIP IF I NEED IT POSTED OUT?

Yes, we cover any postage costs for your membership.

WHY HAVEN’T I RECEIVED MY MEMBERSHIP?

There are many factors at the start of a season as to why you may not have your membership in your hands. We receive our tickets from the SANFL, so there may be a hold up with that. Also, we have to source all of the membership products and sometimes we run into a delay in shipping or the likes. Please call Reception on 08 8294 5333 for any questions you might have and for an accurate postage date should you need it. **Please note: 2014 Membership packs will be arriving at the Club by the late January, and will be sent out as soon as possible.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY LOTTERY BOOK?

You are sent a Lottery book each year that you join up as a member (unless you have chosen not to receive one) and this is a fundraising initiative by the Club. We hope you are able to sell the tickets in the book and return the book and the profits to the club as soon as possible. If you have any trouble, please feel free to call us at any time.

WHAT EVENTS ARE INCLUDED IN MY MEMBERSHIP?

In season 2014 the exclusive members events are the Family Day on (March TBC) Season Launch (TBC), Meet the Coaches night on (TBC), and Meet the Players - Exclusive Junior Members Function on (TBC).

HOW DO I GET A COPY OF THE SEASON GUIDE?

Your Season Guide pen is via redemption token included in your 2014 membership pack and will be available to collect late February.

DISABLED CAR PARKING

Disabled parking for Gliderol Stadium events are located at the Brighton road car park Entrance.

WHY SHOULD I REGISTER AN EMAIL ADDRESS?

In an effort to improve Glenelg Football Clubs communication with members, the club is aiming to collect as many email addresses as possible in 2014. Please assist us by providing your email address when completing your application form and we will be able to keep you updated on the latest news from the club which will include unique content, special offers including member only specials. You will be able to unsubscribe from any of our content by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the bottom of any of our emails.

WHAT DISCOUNT DO I GET ON MERCHANDISE?

Members receive 20% off all club merchandise from the online shop and on game day.

WHEN IS MY PACK ARRIVING?

Packs will be sent out from mid-February. Thereafter the turnaround time will be 3 to 5 days after order.

WHERE IS YOUR SHOP?

We have an online shop through our website: membership@glenelgfc.com.au and you can also purchase a range of merchandise on match days from the merchandise tent within gliderol stadium or at the gfc reception (weekdays only)
